Ismailer stated that the team is now reimagining Project Ethos with a revised vision, aiming to address community desires.

This announcement mirrors a similar move taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they hired an industry veteran from the Diablo team to contribute to the beloved franchise studio Cloud Chamber.

Through your commitment and versatility, especially over the last year, you continue to prove that.

The gamer responses from last fall’s Project ETHOS playtest was revealing. It confirmed the promise of a action-packed game but indicated we still had improvements to make. It revealed the requirement for a more distinct identity.

It has been motivating to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the criticism to mind and reimagined Project ETHOS with a revitalized vision - one that’s positioned to deliver on its promise to our players.

Our confidence in Project ETHOS increases every day. To further the incredible progress you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce the new hire as the incoming Studio Head of 31st Union. After a period of conversations, Ben officially joins us on Monday, October 20.
